"Giant Baby Steps"   Jody enjoys giving her students a fast track to personal knowledge and confidence.. She can take a person who has never ridden, or a horse that has never been ridden and create an amazing partnership. Trail, arena, pleasure and competition are all available here. The idea is two tracks with results, both horses and riders, training from the very beginning if needed, meeting individual goals and dreams. Jody has trained successfully trained many breeds; Quarter horses, Arabs, Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, Paso Finos, Mustangs, and of course her personal favorite, the Peruvian horse.

  Jody Childs offers riding instruction and training for both those interested in Hunter/Jumpers, Western, or the Peruvian horse experience.

  Matchmaking:  Jody has matched so many horses and riders that have gone on to be champions.  She loves training the horse through the rider so that the horse bonds with the owner, not the professional.  Jody has industry contacts and can locate souind sane horses and fast track owners so that they earn their "Wings", like ground school for pilots, students gain proficiency so that they can "solo" confidently, safely, and successfully.
